Ngahuia Wright | Descendant of Taranaki Whānui, Waikato Tainui, Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāti Toa and Te Ati Haunui A Paparangi.

As Māori Advisor to the research programme, she brings to the programme many skills. Previous Communications Co-Ordinator at Community Housing Aotearoa, and other Māori advisory boards within the community. 

Existing ongoing relationships and networks with various housing providers with Kaupapa Māori and Pacific Housing aspirations to enable providers to uplift their communities they serve.

Experience

Iwi Relationships brings a Te Ao Māori lens, Mātauranga Māori various Advisory Boards, various working relationships with Housing providers and wider services within the community. Ngahuia will guide and advise on communicating research findings to relevant Māori communities and organisations with the development of the Māori Strands of the Whakawhanungatanga Māori Wellbeing model resource for housing providers.
