Ngahuia Wright (Te Ati Awa and Ngati Toa Rangatira) is the Māori Advisor to the Public Housing and Urban Regeneration Research Programme. Her role is to support the Māori Strand and the wider research programme. She has previously worked as communications coordinator at the community housing peak body, Community Housing Aotearoa.
She brings experience in Mātauranga Māori, tikanga and kaupapa Māori in community housing. She will advise on communicating and translating research findings to the relevant Māori communities and organisations, and contribute to the development of the Māori Strand's Whakawhanaungatanga Māori Wellbeing Model resource for housing providers.
