Measuring Experienced Wellbeing

The measuring experienced wellbeing (EWB) project will gather information on experienced wellbeing (measures of subjective wellbeing that focus on a person’s mood or emotions at a particular point in time) that allow for connecting wellbeing with specific activities and features of place and/or the wider urban environment. The central aim of the project is to obtain experienced wellbeing measures of adult tenants across different housing providers to understand how household temperature impacts on tenant wellbeing.

By providing a measurement framework that is designed to capture the experience of wellbeing at a particular point in time, experienced wellbeing data has the potential to support further analysis of the impact of place and social context on wellbeing.
