Making spaces inclusive in urban New Zealand from a Takatāpui/LGBTIQ+ perspective: a guide for local authorities and public housing providers

In this project Ana is investigating the experiences of urban New Zealand spaces amongst people who identify as Takatāpui, Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Intersex, Queer, and other diverse sexual orientations and gender identities (Takatāpui/LGBTIQ+). The project will explore what is considered inclusive and exclusive urban spaces, from the perspective of Takatāpui/LGBTIQ+ participants. The aim of the research is to use those experiences of urban spaces from Takatāpui/LGBTIQ+ participants to help better inform local authorities and public housing providers in their decision-making process when they are designing urban spaces.
