Wellbeing of social housing tenants

A survey has been designed and administered to adult tenants at the seven sites, with a focus on tenant wellbeing and contributors to their wellbeing. Questions include demographic information, specific wellbeing measures and questions designed to elicit key factors relating to each of the programme’s strands that may affect tenant wellbeing. The survey information will be analysed in keeping with the three wellbeing frameworks described above. Analysis will be conducted in relation to Stats NZ GSS data that cover the same questions to check how responses to the tenant survey compare with the broader population, both of public housing tenants and people in other housing tenures. The survey will be run twice at each site (~2 years apart).
