Lydia Le Gros

Lydia is an Assistant Research Fellow and PhD candidate at the New Zealand Centre for Sustainable Cities and a PhD candidate. Her PhD thesis explores the political economy of housing in Aotearoa, focusing on the impact of financialisation in shaping housing access, security, and opportunity for younger generations. She draws on and further engages with the fields of political theory, social reproduction, feminist theory and urban studies.
