To investigate how the design and maintenance of public housing affect residents’ access to affordable and appropriate energy services that enhance their wellbeing, while also minimising emissions.

Top objectives

  1. Model the value of small-scale renewable electricity micro-grid with on-site storage, for equitable & efficient energy sharing
  2. Investigate energy use, including energy related carbon footprint, of public housing residents
  3. Investigate performance and value of energy systems from residents’ perspective and their capacity to manage their energy needs
